The AI for Nurse Leaders certificate prepares nurse leaders to understand, evaluate, and guide the responsible use of artificial intelligence within healthcare organizations. Delivered through two self‑paced microcourses, the certificate builds a strong foundation in core and generative AI concepts, including how AI systems are developed, trained, and deployed, and the ethical, legal, and governance considerations that shape their use in clinical and operational settings.
Learners then examine applied use cases relevant to nursing leadership—such as AI‑enabled documentation workflows, decision support tools, quality improvement initiatives, workforce planning, and data‑informed management—while developing the leadership competencies needed to assess risk, ensure equity, and align AI adoption with organizational goals.
